PUBG: Battlegrounds A new feature is coming soon that will finally allow players to prove their skills in 1v1 content and structured matches. It is a new feature that works just as its name suggests with multiple players able to register for their turn in the ring to go a few rounds with another player, and it will be added to the game in the next update.

Heading into Training Mode after dropping Patch 17.2, you will have the opportunity to interact with different scoreboards around the region to jot down your name for the best 1v1 match. Just wait for a while after that as if you were going to do it during the matchmaking process You will eventually fall into the ring to fight against someone else. If you don’t want to be the one fighting but want to see others fight, you can be a spectator instead.
Aside from being a training opportunity, the 1v1 Arena is also the perfect way to spend some time or prepare for a more competitive match. This is because you can wait in a 1v1 fight while looking for a ranked game, but you will have to leave 1v1 once you find a match that could result in a loss or a tie depending on how you played the previous rounds out. However, you cannot participate in other activities while waiting for your turn in PvP.
“While waiting for your turn to enter a 1v1 match, you will not be able to enter other training areas such as the Aim/Sound Lab, Special Indoor Target Training, or Jump School,” the patch notes read. “Attempting to do so will result in a popup asking if you would like to cancel the 1v1 match.”
Players start the match with a level 3 jacket, helmet, and backpack as well as two primary and one secondary weapons that are determined based on what you were carrying before the match started.
